Now (over here on .org) I can ask my questions!!
« on: July 06, 2013, 01:34:23 AM »
I have spoken to Arlan, Neil, and bdt about set ups/porting, and was satisfied with the courtesy and info they all three provided. Now my questions are this, who would you guys suggest I have port my 330 cylinder for dirt drag?? (not just out of the three places above, but out of ANYBODY) And who to port my next build (puma) for drag?? And why?? I have always built my own engines so all this custom work is new to me, any and all advice would be appreciated!

I would recommend Rob Selvy. He in particular if you get my drift.
Just my $.02 Good luck with your build! Feel free to PM if you care to.

I was very satisfied with Neil and my mid range port that he did runs really good.  Neil also did a drag ported 6 mil for atvfan28 that is supposed to be very fast.

I would recommend Pete at hybrid.  Especially for the Puma as he has built some very fast ones.  Tim at Titan and Packard are also great guys.  Give them a call and see what you think.  I have no experience with Neil's work p, but have heard great things.

stick to the drag guys if you are building a drag motor thats what they specialize in.

Hybrid,Packard,Titan,K&T,Shearer.............
Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.

if i wanted to be the fastest, i would talk to these guys Hybrid, Packard, Shearer, McCoy, K&T, Titan, maybe even LED almost likely in that order too. Niel makes some fast motors but i dont know if hes the best in the drag race motor arena. if you wanted a woods/tt/xc/MX motor Niel would be near the top of my recomendations

X2 on what motofoolsaid, not exactly that order, but call and talk to them all and see how they make you feel.  You can also try Brandon at Wildcard Racing he is out of Utah.
