how much do you guys run? ive heard that just to the fill hole is not enough and to overfill some. if so how much ?

I fill mine until it starts to come out of the check hole and its good. No more than what is needed and I've not had a issue at all.

I usually give mine a little extra. IDK the exact amount, just an extra squirt out of the red honda oil bottle. I've done both the exact amount and the extra squirt thing for years(about 10 years of both, yes I've had my R that long) and never had any problems with either method. Just make sure that you have at least to the oil check bolt in your R. BTW that extra squirt is about 50 ml. Either way works fine though, but I prefer the little extra oil way.

650cc. The best oil imo to run is amsoil 20w50. Tranny shifts so smooth and oil changes are less frequent.

I run honda HP trans oil at 3/4 of a quart.

thanks guys just wanting to make sure it was ok to add a bit extra i use the oil that works for me and dont want to start any debate over that again as i agree its been beat to death.
