Goldrush race in Okla MX, XC, amd supermoto 1st wkend in Nov

It's coming up soon. Last year I did open beginner dirtbike XC. Got 23rd out of 37. First time ever racing a dirtbike and I'm 42???(IDK my Alzheimers is kicking in). Planning on doing the dirtbike race on sat (have several other friends gonna do it too) and may break out the R for some supermoto on Sunday if I'm not to beat up. Not making any excuses, but it's just getting harder for me to hang on properly so I can race safely.

No I'm not in that race btw, but I'm glad to see they took out the chicane going up the hill. That makes me wanna do the race. There's nothing like running WOT in 6th and pitching it into that right hander without letting off LOL.

makes me wanna do a road trip Mennis. Been itching to get this 47 year old body in the best shape I can to try racing again. This time with the old dudes… This track looks fun with the wide open asphalt

Guess I'm not doing it this year. Front shocks are leaking pretty good. Was gonna at least do some dirtbike racing but they scheduled it for chit. 8am is beginner dirtbike time today and 7am is the pro am dirtbike racing time tomorrow. It's still freaking dark at 7am!!!! Plus cold(and most likely wet from the morning dew) is not a good combo. I've heard they are putting the chicane back in going up the hill to slow speeds down for the supermoto race(IDK this for sure but that's what one of the race's sponsors thinks they are doing) but the xc guys still get to hit it wide open. WTF???? Plus ALL my dirtbike friends wussied out and don't wanna do it. Only one still said maybe and another has been impossible to get ahold of both from calls and texts. Again WTF???? That one was "waiting" on parts LOL. He ordered them before me(by at least a few days) but I got mine first(both from RM ATV) and his IDK???? Anyways at least I'm going riding dirtbikes tomorrow with the one guy that gave me a maybe on the race. We've decided to go somewhere we haven't rode before, but haven't narrowed it down from that. This chit is why I went by myself last year and raced!

Sky I've been trying for years to get some of the guys on here to go. I can understand why some of them don't(to far) but some of y'all live not to far away. Vince and Amanda come sometimes and watch out for her as she's pretty fast LOL(She beat me a few years ago). It's always great to see them as they are both very nice and funny too. 47 isn't to old(I'm 41 or 42 IDK I quit counting) and a lot of older guys show up and race.

What are you racing? Supermoto? I may decide to race with leaky shocks if you are. There isn't any fixing them by me. I don't have the parts or know how for that!
