Thanks for all the kind words..Have been scoring some nice parts lately post some pics soon. Cylinder is at the shop getting bored. My list of needed parts is getting shorter and shorter..after I'm done I'll be sort of bummed because I've really enjoyed this build.

Scored some really nice billet rear hub nuts from a member..if you look closely you may see another nut!! Installed some time cert sleeves in my frame...they had been oversized to an sae size, no thanks. I made some air inlets out of aluminum I'm happy with how they came out. Some really nice parts should be coming this week, stay tuned!

Put my top end together and it passed a leak test! Got the rest of my hardware for my rear brake, rebuilt my water pump. Found a very nice wiring harness on ebay. Everything is wired and almost ready to go!

I wanted to rebuild my fuel valve but the honda diagram doesn't break  it down into parts.. If you look at the trx diagram you will find that the valve is broke down and you can order the internal seal. You can see the part number in the picture.

I've bought so many new parts  that I haven't posted pictures of and I'm sorry about that. The deals that I have got on ebay have been really awesome....my chain and sprockets I really scored on. I got a renthal r1 chain new in the box for $38 shipped, and a sidewinder rear tool steal sprocket for $32 shipped!

So, I have bought many parts since my last post.....rear grab bar from rpm, spark arrested  fmf silencer(had to for the dunes), Nelson Precision Machine exhaust mounts (which are VERY nice), scored a trinity billet case saver/sprocket cover....also I figured out that most of these radiator cap cover for a honda civic will fit our bikes! I bought a used paul turner high rev pipe that I'm having a dent repaired on currently. Tested my compression, it tested out to 180psi....going to run race gas just to be safe. I have been searching around for a nice kick starter and finally found one...it had the factory plug still in it and is barely worn inside...This bike will be started very soon!! Enjoy!!

Amazing job all around! Your work on that tank stands out most to me. I cleaned up a tank using a headlight refurbish kit thinking I was the man with half the shine. Yours looks like glass, thanks for stating your process.

Got my new seat foam in the mail today! My base and foam is off to ol' Boring, Oregon! I also got my shock shaft back...had it ground and chromed. Sent it out to Gary's grinding in Corona, Cal., they did a great job....95 bucks... Going to send it out and have it rebuilt..seal head, re-valve and charge. Put a new bumper on it....my compression knob looked really crappy, I didn't want to anodize it or polish or chrome....so...I used some of this spray rubber coating...it turned out really nice.
