The ESR pistons are made by Wiseco and the LA sleeve pistons are made by Wossner.  The early Wossner pistons were a lot heavier than the Wiseco pistons.

I like the ESR better than the wossner but until the ESR version become available it will have to do, Eddie told me they will be available real soon so we are going to chance it until they show up.

Putting a pingle valve on the bike and a high output pump on it(running methanol) Never had any issues with the carb setup for the 295 cylinder so the prox 300 should be close to our summer setup  ( added more fuel on the power jets and needle)  problem is we race 6 laps and I think the bowl was slowly losing level because it ran real well then stuck the rings with just a small area of piston scuffing.
i am concerned the large billet bowl may actually hurting us in the turns by allowing the fuel to move to one side, maybe the stock clear bowl with the right float removed ( just left hand turns on a oval )
may also try the silicone (armor all) trick in the fuel in case it just so happens to foaming some, has worked very well on my liger

Wouldnt it be nice, if you could put some of that tank foam in the bowl, stop the fuel from sloshing around.
It would be a trick though, getting it to conform around the floats & stay out of the way them.

You might be surprised about that ol Wossnor, specially if its one of the new ones like the ESR pistons.

I actually bought some of the foam to put in the dual feed CP casted bowl for my 52 lectron but was not happy with any way I put it in there, so instead I drilled the bottom of the bowl and installed a drain plug out of a mikuni bowl but the plug is extra deep, I then extended the lectrons slide needle pickup down into the cap area
so it would pull from a deeper point trying to avoid any possible foaming that may be happening

Have you tried tilting/rotating the carb,?.
Coming out of the corners where the engine stumbles normally ?.

I did not think of tilting the carb, thats a good idea, it did seize coming out of the corner but not sure it was related to that or not, but I like the idea odf a little tilt to the carb, thanks!
