I wonder if it is their foam or made by CEET.

I've heard Pete complain that ceet foam is very firm, almost too firm, but I've never tried it myself... Can anyone chime in on that?

Yeah tony I have a CEET desert seat and I'm not a fan of it, I'm running a very old waxon seat foam. The HiFlite foam is too square.

All I have is stock foam.  My 400ex seat is a rock compared to the R.  450 seems a little more comfortable than my 400.  Wonder if the CEET foam feels comparable to a 450?

The first time I recovered my seat (maybe 13 years ago) was with ceet foam and cover. I couldnt ride on it. was like a cinder block compared to a typical honda seat of that time period. Maybe they changed a little since then. I recovered it with hi-flite foam and cover and was happy again. This was with their standard height seat.

I say do like custom motorcycle seats. Run a gel pad on bottom and some memory foam on top and then wrap it!

Damnit, I think the good idea fairy just spoke. Now I'm going to be wanting to do that or you could at least cut out an area where your but goes and put whatever type of softer padding inside.

Maybe worth trying.  Went to the dealer today and sat on a trx450 & yfz450r.  Confirmed that the trx is flat out the most comfortable in my opinion but the YZ was right with it.  This wasn't an issue when I was younger....lol.

Quad Tech and Jettrim are both better than CEET

^^^This^^^  Ive always felt the most comfortable on the 450r seats, and honestly, I like the seat cover material as well. It allows me to slide around, and just enough grip to keep me planted when I need to (and no chaffing from riding gear, lol). Im not a fan of gripper seat covers at all!!.. Im seriously considering a Quad Tech on the 450 though, and if I dont like it, somebody else will..lol

I was at the dealer checking into the trx and yfz but the funny thing was I found myself checking out the new Polaris Scrambler 1000 more so than anything else.  That thing has to be the ultimate woods machine.  Darn shame they want $15 grand for it!
