New aftermarket Frame in the works!

Anyone else seen this new six 5 designs frame?! It looks bad to the bone.

It's a TRX 450r style chassis that uses LTR geometry and Jake said its designed to fit any motor and be perfectly balanced. I'm scared to see the price tag but I'm glad to see something new. Maybe someday...

I thought the TRX geometry was superior to any other?

Six5 has nailed it on everything so far, this will be no exception. Even though Walsh is at the for front of this already, it is still cool!  To answer 1986s' question, the Ltr geometry is said to be the best, there are several companies making 450r arms using Ltr geo with Ltr spindles, hubs, rotor as well as Ltr geo stems. Walsh also makes hybrid frames (crf) to use this style setup. Also has rear end options of 450r link style or Savior (basically crf450 link). Lsr has their own style spindles(Ltr geo) that uses trx hubs and brakes with High Missalign tie rods for Trx design stems. Although its a cheaper solution, its said to not handle as well, but still better than 450r

I'm thinking more like Walsh/Laeger pricing based on price of existing arms and swinger.  It should be worth it.  6k with stem?

It is....but the OEM LTR frame was based off a Walsh 250R frame I believe. The heart and soul of the 250R geometry is still there

That stem setup on the CRF frame is awesome.  Bet the only thing left of the trx frame will be the six5 motor mounts.  Joking aside, it would be fantastic if someone could crack the code and figure out how to run a KTM250/300 motor in a quad frame.  Similar to the ROLL DESIGN kx250 effort but available for the public.

Here's Jakes response to a question about how it will handle the vibes and another about if he would sell a kit to build one.
"The entire engine is mounted thru polyurethane bushings in attempt to limit the vibrations as much as possible.  We will see. And David, we will sell kits if people are in the market for them." This one really interests me as well! I think this would be an awesome hybrid that I could actually afford to build and eventually I could run his a arms, swingarm, and stem since he's using the 450 frame. I think we're going to be forced to look into options like this as 250r parts start getting more scarce.

It will be interesting to see how they find room for the pipe and radiator in there.  I'm pumped that we got someone out there with fresh ideas and a willingness to work with the customer.
