Hey guys, new here and just getting into the 250r's! Came from the four strokes....I'll never go back. These 250r's are awesome. Endless possibilities with these machines..... I started riding in the early 90 ' s with a suzuki 230 quad sport got out of it, then in 2003 I bought a brand new kfx 400. ( still have it) Man did the quads change. Then fell in love with the Green machine and bought a used kfx450 project quad... Finished it sold it then had some extra money to get another project. That's when I found my R! It was a beater at first but I've breathed some life back in her. Seaching for these missing and broken pieces has been fun I've met a lot of nice guys....great people in these R's. Luckily my quad had a nice repainted frame to start with. Then I replaced all seals and bearings I could find. And found nice oem plastics. Now my engine just got rebuilt from a great guy in cali. Did an amazing job! Waiting on engine to get back.....I'll put pics up asap. ....before and after pics too. She is still a work in progress but it's coming along nicely.... glad to be a member.
