But I can tell you, I now have 2 seats re-done by Cosmic Quads right down to new foam and they do great work at a fraction of the price that clown is expecting to get.

Difference is, he might get a customer at that price....once..

Cosmic Quads gets alot of repeat business... And no, I don't have a personal vested interested in Cosmic.. They are just good people (He is a member here and on the 3 wheeler boards) that do excellent work.

Do you know their screen name?
How is their foam? Soft, firm?

Rob is a member here (Mosh22) but I'm not sure about his wife Tammy. I don't know how often he swings through here. Tammy is who runs the Cosmic Quads business and does the work. Here is their page: http://www.cosmicquads.com/8482.html

It is better to call them rather than go through email. They are usually pretty busy with work and sometimes email isn't the best way to get ahold of them.

I believe they get their new foam from Hi-Flight, but I could be mistaken. All I know is for me its just right and the work she does looks amazing whether you go full custom or OEM replica. And the prices are less than most nice looking OEM seats on ebay are priced at.. But hard to tell with an old OEM if it is still nice and pliable or if its getting stiff.

X2...get your seat re-done by Tammy at cosmic quads. You wont be dissapointed and you sure as hell wont spend 750.

I'm thinking I should post my oem seat cover that I took off my 250r and see if I can sell it for $750. Some people and their outrageous prices on ebay just make me laugh.

He sent me a message this morning asking me to measure the warning label on the 88 seat I am selling because he was sure it was a reproduction!! Then went on a rambling tirade about how they have a 30 day back log and nobody offers this service and how amazing they are. Here is my response:

No, I agree, you guys are amazing! I can tell by the 89 seat that you are selling for $700 that is on an 86/87 seat pan. INCREDIBLE attention to detail! If you don't even know the product, don't try to sell it for a small fortune. Oh, and what did do coat the seat in Mink Oil?? These seats don't come in gloss you jackass. If you want to be an asshole I will make sure that everyone and anyone in the 250R community steers clear of your rude and swindling ass. It is a small community and we dont like jerkoffs like you. Don't seem to see any feeback from anyone that had bought this amazing service from you! Further more your abundance of negative and neutral feedback would steer any buyer with half a brain clear of your overpriced crap.
