Ahhhh hahahahhahaaa! Funny and messed up at the same time. I think George Bush had a little to do with it and his clean air act.

These yz hybrids rip. if I didn't already have one, I'd be all over it. Good deal. I like what I see in the background pics too!

That is what a lot of people think, but it wasnt clean air, tree huggers or EPA.
It was the OEMs & AMA getting in each others pockets & AMA changing all the race classes to exclude the 2 strokes, so bring on those new high priced 4 pokers & make the big bucks OEM factorys.

AMA has seen their wrong though, from seeing riders every week dropping out of racing, from going broke trying to keep those 4 pokers running. The engine builders are the ones mostly benifiting from it, because all they have to do is maybe have a few parts on hand & then the rest is very high dollar labor.
Dont know how many times I've called Cali ordering parts & was asked, man you started working on those 4 strokes yet, its big money working on them & the owners aint got no better sense than keep on spending.

So in the end, its all a big 4 stroke money making sceem for the OEMs & engine builders reaping the harvest.
Any of you remember me saying, dont ever forget Dec 7th 1941, cause Japan came over here & kicked the USA tail that day & they are still kicking, but nobodys paying any attention. Better wake up.

If it aint got a hot weed eater 2 stroke engine, all its good for is a pit bike

Good deal.  Make it whole and stick it next to those other time capsules!  That first pic sure does represent the dominance of the protrax front end.
