Hey all I've kinda been a lurker here for a while and thought I would share my new chassis I am building. It's going to be a +8 in front with a +12 swingarm single a-arm all built from 4130 chromoly. I am building the whole thing from scratch will post more as the build progresses. Let me know what you think, any advice appreciated.

Thanks, I'm going to try a single a-arm setup first, if I can't keep it under control I might change it two a double setup.

IMO you will want to keep the motor mounted as low as possible so you can keep the swing arm pivot bolt low and keep the swing arm as level as possible yet set the bike up with enough ground clearance for the whoops. The more level the swing arm, the less wheeling
Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.

Yeah I'm keeping the pivot point parallel with the front sprocket and going to keep as low as I can with the 25" tires I'm going to run. The swing arm should be fairly flat with the exception of a little suspension movement it will have.

25" tire, must have some power going in that ride ;)

I mostly ride the Oregon dunes and here in Washington there are a few small dunes to ride. Hoping to get it to the track a few times this year in Albany OR also.
