thought i lost the key then found one but not sure if its the right one. does the the flat straight side have a notch cut in it that runs the whole length of it? if it is the right one does it matter if the notch faces the front or back of motor? thanks!

there is not a notch in the flywheel key from the facory, either it is worn from a loose flywheel, someone has files on it or it is a offset key to add timing to the motor

offset flywheel keys look like this

if you have a offset key then you want the key so it is moved to the left(counter clockwise), that would advance the ignition

another pic of a offset key

Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.
