Ended up going 1-1 for first overall out of 7. Track was perfect. The guys that prep the track are quad riders so they always prep before they send us out and it's great. For some reason my gopro deleted my videos so I'm in the process of trying to recover them. Anyways, here's the trophy.

Well done! That's fantastic. What class were you racing? I would love to see the video if you can recover it.

Thanks Ryan! C class. I always sign up for B and tell them if no one shows up for B just put me in C. I don't want to get first because nobody signed up for my class. To me everyone signs up for C so there's probably more competition there but I guess I won't know until some people sign up for B class haha. I think I have them recovered but the software is $30 so I'm wondering if I should buy parts for the next race or just get the software in case it happens again.

Great job!!! C class can be tough as you never know who is racing regarding skill level and if they are a throttle Jocky or not. I feel bad for the C class riders cuz it can be a battle out there at times!

You had fun, came away with a win and it's all good! Hope you get that gopro fixed. maybe there is software out there that you don't have to pay the $30 to get it fixed.

Good point Ryan lol. If i was an A level rider I would in a heartbeat. I truely see myself as a B rider though and I mean that without being cocky. Ya I know what you mean JoePA, it's always a mixture. Ya I've been looking around and it seems like they are all around $30 and up to $50.

That's not cocky at all. Honest assessment of one's own skills and ability is a sign of intelligence and maturity. You are what you are. Right now, I am no where near good enough to race in B class. I have more than enough competition in C class right now. And that's just where I'm at right now. Honest assessment will keep you competitive, safe, and having fun.

Ryan, Once you get your shock situation squared away you will find out how fast you are. You have the engine and now you'll have the suspension. you'll see an improvement in your lap times as well as riding. It will be more agressive than before as you were worried more about the landing than anythign else.

As Ryan said nothing wrong with an Honest assesment, it's the ones that ride over their head are the ones that we have to worry about.

Exactly right ^^^^. My biggest concern in racing C class. I have raced with "that guy" before.

I think we all have. There are usually a few every race but I try to get the holeshot ahead of them and stay wayyyyyy out front lol. JoePA is right on your suspension though. I've improved 100x where I was at a couple years ago just by getting my suspension exactly how I wanted it.

Great job, I wondered how that track was for quads. I thought about going down there sometime for practice (if they have one) to see what it's like.

Thanks Breezy and Jeremy!

Breezy- The track is nice. Not too many big jumps or anything but a lot of elevation change. They sometimes have practice during the week so check out their facebook for their schedule. I also posted a helmet cam of a couple laps I did my first time there this year on this site if you wanted to take a look at the track.

Jeremy- I bought the software to recover the videos but it's not really working. I've recovered the files but it won't play the video. I'm going to call customer support today and see if I can get it figured out. If not I guess no videos and I'll be returning the software.
