I made this on another board but figure if we want more random BS threads around here to participate in i may as well throw it up here too! OK, we all wreck. or injure ourselves on the job. or fall out of bed. whatever it is, list up your war stories and battle scars if you got pics to back up your stories even better! Heres mine with some sweet photo evidence

I broke my ankle sunday the 27th of April 2014 in 3 places and now have a plate and 8 screws. First pic is nasty, fresh after getting my half cast off from 10 days with it on. I have a nasty weeping wound where the foot peg grabbed a chunk of my leg, its gnarly looking. and tasty :lol:

I broke my shoulder and stretched the nerve trunk at Trikefest 2009 and had to have PT but no surgery. Heres a shot of me trolling campsites in my sweet sling. pretty much all they did at the local ER was give me pain killers and a sling so i hung out for 4 days shirtless for the remainder of TrikeFest 2009. I wrecked on my kfx700. I couldn't lift my arm about halfway up for 3 months


I wrecked my 85 250SX when i was 21 and had to have 33 stitches and a drain put in my left leg. Heres a shot of my Leg before they stitched it up. I wrecked and didn't even lift my pant leg up to see the wound; i saw blood on my shoe and packed my bike up and went to the ER LMAO. after they cut my pants off i was yelling at everyone about reacting to it and describing it because i didn't want to know how bad it was. I didn't see the picture of the wound or the witched up wound itself for 2 weeks after the incident just to avoid the mental pain i would have knowing how bad i injured myself. I still don't have full feeling due to the nerve damage in the area i cut myself. They didn't give me anything to kill the pain for TWO FREAKING HOURS while they decided on either taking me to the Operating Room or just stitching it back up in the ER. It hurt, i would say comparable to the ankle break from 2 weeks ago.


I broke my wrist snowboarding when i was 17 in Utah
I broke my right arm when i was 17 skateboarding
Rolled my right and left ankles countless times skateboarding in my late teens/early 20's that have made for some sore joints
I broke my right ankle when i was like 12; Horseback riding when another horse kicked my ankle and broke it.
Thats most of the major stuff. plenty of good cuts and atv/snowboarding/skateboarding related junk that hurts still

what have you guys all broken/fractured/cut?

well... nothing as bad as jason but i caught my finger on a metal basketball net once trying to dunk in high school and i flew off of the quarter pipe at the park trying to do a transfer on my bike and i guess just bruised my foot. i couldn't walk on it for 2 weeks so i had to go to class for two weeks with a cane because i didn't have crutches haha those pics are graphic jason haha damn dude

dang I thought I beat up myself pretty good. broken left collar bone on a ytm 200 when I was 11, right collar bone on 350x at 21, and more bruises ,sprains ,strains , stitches ,cuts than I can remember. oh yea some cracked ribs. how could I for get this cut my fingers off with a table router, and im 36 .

Dislocated/broke right hip in 99 mx racing.  Was passing for first place on a tabletop.  A banshee drifted on me a little and my left side of quad landed on his right side.  Have it on vhs.  All beads broke,handlebars and headstay.  Have screws/pins still in my hip.  Got about 30 nice staple marks from that one.   Dislocated left shoulder in 2013 riding on a mx track.  Got a bunch of stitches in left shin in 2000.  Foot slipped off peg and I landed on my foot!  My brother had to lift the quad off of it.  I will see if I can find a pic of my scar down my right side from hip injury.....it is over a foot long.  Almost forgot about the barbed wire I got tangled around my right calf in high school while ruuning thru the woods....more stitches!

60% crush, compression fracture on my T12 vertabrae, drag raptor fcr carb vent tube broke, got sand in the top and jammed up the slide just as i punched it to pull a wheelie, and hit a sand berm on two wheels  with carb stuck full throttle doing about 50. while i was in the air, motor instantly bounced off rev limiter in like 4th gear, and as soon as those paddles touched the ground again, it got real violent LOL. was laid up for 4 months and was mm's from being paralyzed for life.

flipped the quad on top of me doing a ridiculous hill climb.  the clavicle took  majority of the force.

wrecks, i wish i still had a video of mine. But ive never been truly hurt on a dirtbike or quad, i guess onetime when i was in 5th grade, my neighbor had our professionally built track groomed, burms redone and landings redone once and i didnt notice the landings. Well i came around a slight bend 4th pinned on my yz80, hit our 70ft double and only my front tire made the landing. I wrecked my nuts so hard they actually went up inside of my body for 3 days. To date thats my only semi-serious wreck that actually effected me for more than the next few hrs.

Never had any major wrecks on my R knock on wood but plenty spills on other bikes. In the late 80's I told my buddy I could jump like Rick Johnson on my 350X. Hit a 12' drop too far to the right & landed the rr tire on a small tree, hit the ground on my left side with the weight of the trike. Chest protector saved me & only had a badly bruised back. Lost my spleen from taking a shot to the gut by the end of the handlebars on my buddys suzuki DR350. I just wanted to take it for a quick spin around the barn, hit a jump & botched the landing. The bike only lost a clutch lever, I never did get even with it. Fractured my rt hand landing on the face of a double in the dunes. I broke my own cardinal rule & didn't look before I leap.

Once...I was licking an envelope....and I got a paper cut on my tongue...OH MY GOD...did that hurt. I don't have any pictures but...GEEZ
