I am the second owner. I bought it from a family friend who was the original owner. She bought the bike to ride her property and check on her animals. I bought it two years ago for my 10 year old son. I installed an aftermarket front bumper, nerf bars, and had the top end rebuilt two trips ago as preventative maintenance. The only other parts that aren't original is the air cleaner and the twist throttle. The bike has not been rode hard and the pictures will show just that. It is super clean, starts on the first or second kick every time, and hauls the mail. It probably has six tanks of gas ran through the new top end. It has been jetted and tuned by Allen Fox so it runs perfect all the way through the powerband. I bought my son a four stroke so this one has to go. The registration is current with the pink slip in my hand. Any questions give me a call. Andy 619-654-3757 I'm asking $2600 obo

Having trouble posting pictures. I'm working on them but for now look at my thread in the introduction section.

Man do I love those blue 86's.  My first 86 came with a front bumper like that one.  That quad around here would go for over 3k easily.  Good luck with the sale!

Allen Fox is a former pro 250R racer back in the day and he is even better trx or atc 250R builder. When I was living in so Cal he was my engine builder and I still have the 250r motor he built for me on my 1986 250r and it does scream.

Ya I met Allen 20 years ago when I was the manager at Cycle Parts West. He's tuned all of my bikes since then. Last year he did some head work on my turbo rzr and dialed my new top end in. He's the s**t in my book! The price I am asking for this quad is kind of the going asking price here in San Diego so if someone on this site can get a smoking deal I'm all for it! I just want to see it go to a good home and I think I will find it here.

I hope it goes to a good home instead of someone who's gonna part it.  Very nice original R.

If I lived within 200 miles of you it would be gone.  That is one clean machine.  It's not the bike it's the time of the year.  People are riding, racing, etc.  The market is soft - I currently have frames for sales at good prices that would last minutes in the Fall through early spring.  May - Oct buyers market.  Nov - April sellers market....IMO.  I think you will eventually get what you are asking...it's too nice of a bike not to.
