Has any one modified a reed cage(VF3's) , like opening up the intake a little more and seen a power gain? im sure its probably designed the way it is for velocity and what not but just curious if anyone has opened one up for more air and tested it on a dyno to see any results?

it never hurts IMO to make sure you have a good transition into the reeds, whether you open up the intake allot along with the reed cage, that is something that testing can only prove if it works or not.

Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.
Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.
