Ok. All of you guys with nice bikes have inspired me to do the same. My only problem would be that I would have to ride and ultimately destroy it. SO since I can't make it look nice AND ride it , I will make it completely nonfunctional. Just pure asthetics.
That means engine with no internals (saves money for stuff like polishing and chrome plating ). I wouldn't even need to put brake fluid in it (more money saving and time because I won't have to bleed them). Do away with all nonessintial brackets (then I plead with the powder coater to give me a discount since there is less there ).
I am a 3 wheeler guy so a lot less frontend components (more money savings).

It takes took damn long to clean and would never be the same.
If it ran, I would ride it. In dirt, sand, snow, mud, water.

powdercoat everything, and pressure wash after each ride. will look like new for years to come if you dont have to worry about repolishing stuff
