Probably should sell the cases with the cylinder, allot of work goes into mating the saber to the bottom end

troy I can post pics of everything if you want
Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

You aren't kidding about that Wayne. I just couldn't spend that much on a motor and that's a deal that Troy is offering. Good luck with your sale Troy.

I know the cases should go with the top end and clutch then I'm back up to the higher costs that no one wants to pay it seems.  These things are Ubber expensive....  3 grand for the complete motor is a steal.

I'm still holding out on a sale of the complete motor.  We'll see what happens.  From there plan to put on ebay and see, last resort will be part out.  Its hard to part out as it is sitting in the builders shop right now.  I was waiting since I'd just have him send it directly to the buyer to save a little shipping headaches.

Just sent this cylinder off to Millenium to redo the Nikasil and has a fresh piston.  This motor is completely fresh and ready go.  Just needs an ignition and your rolling.  Price lowered.

$2900 takes the motor shipped to your door in the lower 48 states!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   try and build a fresh saber for double that price, I dare you! You can't build a sphynx for that.   Go from zero to hero!

Rsss - how would one go about setting this motor up as a reliable Duner with broad power and not top-end biased?

I think this motor has lots of good midrange pull, especially if ran with a 40.5 mm carb on it. the compression is not to high and it kicks over real easy.
The biggest hurdle I see is cooling, IMO you need a fan to cool the radiator.
Thats not to hard to do except for the stator/cdi with alighting coil. the factory 250r cdi will be prone to kickbacks, the cr250 cdi would work great except for no lighting coil unless you try the higher wattage service honda system.
Vortex use to make a 250r cdi that would allow the use of the factory stator/flywheel you could check to see if they are still available. The larger stock flywheel would also smooth out the hit of the motor.
You might be able to run a MSD programmable box off the same lighting coil since they run off 12v
MSD also use to make the old Enhancer boxes that still allowed the stock lighting coil to be kept but
did require a battery to be carried, they were 7.2v and with the new RC batteries you should have no problem going
12-16 hours of engine run time the old small msd battery went all weekend back in the day which was probably 5-6 hours run time.
I would have to double check the timing at kicking rpm on the enhancer to make sure it does not have to much ignadvance while kicking
I have a enhancer that has never been mounted that I might sell
