Thanks for all the good words, she has hade a lot of love the past few week. The pipe guard is off of my SH cr500af, my next upgrade is inverted forks.

I think you can get those guards aftermarket. I have seen a few on different bikes. I want some inverts as well.

Thanks, from what I've seen around here lowering your trike or quad and a good set of studded tires would be a must. I was running a snow bike convertion on my cr500 last winter and I found the carb would freeze up so I wrapped the carb and cylinder together, I never hade a problem after.
It went good and handled great in powder not so good on hard packed.
