What does it seem to be rubbing on?

it looks like the back side of the clutch gear. my guess is its only rubbing when the kicker is being used. ill tear it apart tomorrow and get a closer look.

Mine shows those same rubs marks too. I don't think it's anything to worry about as long as all bearing are tight on the clutch basket.

Looks like you've got a very good start to an XC build. Awesome fab skills too!

Kind of what I was thinking. It looks like its lightly rubbing. If it were rubbing while the engine was running there would probably be a lot more damage. & thanks lol!

Yeah, they pretty much all have those marks. Just could not tell if that was a sliver of aluminum in the pic or just a silver scratch. Really like how you reinforced the frame for the heel bucket mount.

Ok! These guys took me the better part of the day to do. The gold inlay is the same gold that I'm doing my frame. Its kind of hard to see the gold pearl clear but its there. Next time the sun decides to come out I'll try to get a better pic. The clutch cover is still baking but as soon as its out I'll snap a couple of pics.
