Hello, came here for some advice. Traded the van straight up for an '86 Trx250r/'03 Crf450r hybrid. She's a little messy right now but she'll be pretty sleezy in the end... I hope

When I came down from Oregon I stopped off at the dunes in Roswell. Didnt have a bike, but walked around a bit. The sand is very fine. Looked like a very small riding area. I think you could see most of it in about 20 minutes. How does Kermit compare to Roswell?

Roswell doesn't have many open dunes it's mainly sand trails but they are fast and smooth. Kermit has lots of open riding even see a few sandrails out there.

I was talking about the Mescalero Orv park. Its outside of Roswell. Is that where you go?  How long does it take you to run around Kermit? I need some dunes. I have ridden the Oregon coast for many years and now I am missing them.

Kermit isn't all that big. You could run it all in one day. But it's a low traffic park and the sand is always smooth. Oilfield takes up alot of the vacancy at the local hotels so it's good to plan a month in advance. Mescalero is smaller than Kermit. Tho it does have great sand trails and Roswell has some cool places to visit if your into the alien stuff.

Very nice. Still waiting to get my bikes down here. Visted the NW and was able to meet up with Skeans1 and do a day trip to the Oregon coast. Was so nice to get some seat time
