Having problems with my R in first and second gear it has no power if you dump the clutch in first it bogs down and all the power turns on in 3,4,5, and 6th I've tried everything I can think of short of pulling the head to look at the top of the Piston but it's ran like this since I had it built. It's a esr 310 with the high compression dome built by a local builder vforce3 reeds without a spacer trx5 pipe 38 as carb short rod crank. His porting notes show .055 squish 196/192 triples 130 transfers from 187/122 just pulling the carb off this thing looks like it's way overported to me if someone can shed some knowledge on what can be wrong I'm about to toss the cylinder in the trash and go back to stock

This does not tell us what jets and needles you have tried on the carb if at all.

I've tried jets ranging from 168-184 and two different needles and moving the clips position

Sounds like the needle is too rich. I have had the same problem with over modified portwork. Like drag porting. It seems it is very hard to get the right needle. I wish you had access to a smart carb to see if it would deliver the correct fuel.

I was thinking possibly maybe my stator is goin bad, Possibly needing a reed spacer to antodize fuel better, or it has the wrong piston in it or something idk no clue on this whole ordeal
