I just purchased a new pipe from Eddie Sanders Racing it is a trx 5b. I was wondering if b was big bore or Rev 2 pipe. Thanks

I just picked up an engine that came with a "trx5cb" center mount pipe. And was wondering the same thing. I was getting ready to call Eddie but I think you just answered my question.
I am thinking mine is a trx5 center mount big bore pipe.

Yes, the B is for big bore. However, The TRX 5B IS his standard TRX 5 pipe now, so this is the only way they come from now on. This started since February of this year, I believe.

Um.......Yes. LOL.
And to answer the question I believe you meant to post, Yes, the performance is the same between the TRX5 and the TRX5B. From what Eddie told me, the smaller engines would lose just a tad bit of power on bottom end, but would be negligible. But it would help the bigger bore engines run a little cooler.

Yes that what meant to write. That what I thought I would lose a little bottom end power with the pipe and cylinder combination that I have.

I posted some dyno testing I did on the TRX-5 series of pipes on a 310 cylinder somewhere on this site.
There are comparisons on the ESR TRX-5 centermount pipe and silencer, TRX-5B centermount pipe and silencer, TRX-5 out of frame pipe and silencer and the TRX-5B out of frame pipe and silencer.
