Going to be buying some here soon. Anyone have the black one? How is the finish holding up. Does it stain with dirt/mud? Will probably buy the complete bearings and seals/gasket kit as well. Is it truly complete?

I have a set put together but have not run them yet. Everything went together well and hope to get this motor in soon. Have been using the clutch cover side for some time now and it looks really good after many rides. Clutch cover has the same finish as the cases. I also had Eddie put in bearings and seals and was very pleased with my cases. Hope this helps.

I had a set of black anodized cases. It seemed to hold up well but I didnt have them all too long. Went to a bigger setup and bought a new set. Happy with the cases though.

I have assembled a couple of engines with Esr cases, had absolutely no problems with them,I know several other people that run his cases no problems with them, I do not know anything about the black anodized cases or how they will hold up.
