I'm going to be at Florence over Presidents weekend. February 12-15. It would be great to see a few R's down there. I'm probably going to be camped at honeyman state park. I'll update my camping situation later. Loren

I might be able to swing a trip pending the weather. But Florence!? Got too many tickets there!

You too huh? I vowed never to go back cause its not fun to be harassed by the noise police. Florence hires temps to police the dunes. Broke my pelvis running from the little white truck. Have had alot of fum there though. Its camper friendly.

It's not my favorite place to say the least. I go with a group that started going on Presidents weekend about 10 years ago. I know there can be a bunch of cops out there but I honestly didn't see any last February. Winchester is definitely my favorite I like to mix it up though

Maybe Puma and I will ride Winchester and you guys can come down for a bit.

But I did dodge a sound ticket at Florence once when running a Dave Moore Racing carbon fiber silencer - still over the limit but didn't get a ticket. Puma runs those big Cascade silencers so he ought to be good :rofl:

So I'm officially staying at driftwood 2. I know Florence can be a hot spot for cops, but we are going anyway. It's the one and only time a year we go to Florence.

If you don't want to ride at Florence at least stop by for a beer on your way home. It would be a huge hassle for me to come down to Winchester. I have a 11.5' camper on my truck. So I would have to break camp and ditch my group. I'd really like to ride with you guys but it just won't work this time. It's beer o'clock anytime after noon.

I've had more crashes & broke more parts at florence than anywhere else. Thats where my R was dubbed the broken1.

Wow some notice.. Loren if the guys aren't willing to budge I'll bring the truck and trailer up and bring you guys down to Windy bay for the day.. That is if I can get away... :nightmare: I'll start working on the wife..

I don't know if I would be able to come back to camp if I left my little buddy. I'll just have to try to get a free weekend and come down just me. I can stay at my cousins house in coos bay.

I like riding at florence I just always had bad luck there when I was young & dumb. I'm going to try & make the trip though Loren so you might have at least one other R to ride with. Besides, my wife owes me a free weekend. Might even be able to talk Jared into going also since he got his new shocks today.
