Hard to tell from the picture. Is it MB01? Back in the day LRD would put these serial numbers on their pipes. Initials of the pipe builder and the number of the pipe built. MB would be Mike Berry (and LRD employee back in the day) and that would have been his first big bore pipe. Makes sense being handconed. Once they tested and finalized a design, they would send off and get tooling made, in which it became a stamped production pipe. I bet that one went off to an LRD factory racer. Bill Ballance maybe?
 
Does it have "350B" stamped in it?

Interesting...MS doesn't ring a bell to me. Not sure about the 400 either. Maybe it was for some stroker motor. Anyways its a cool pipe probably the only one in existence.

Jason did he do any for custom builds such as the Pilot conversions like Packard did back in the day?

350b or 350d? Pretty sure I have a 350b...I'll have to check when I get back up to the nw. I hate being so far from my bikes and the Oregon dunes

The coned pipe on your bike? Thought it was the older D pipe.

The 350B pipe was a modified 250 Team B pipe. Basically a 250 pipe with a larger stinger. The 350D pipe was a complete redesign. If I recall correctly the 350B was a bit more pipey. The D made more power over the range, but mostly down low. Keep in mind this was on Arlans 350PV ProX motors, and may statements can be taken with a grain of salt.

Jared, the pipe you saw was a 350G. I have the 350B on my spare bike.
