Who makes a longer shifter?

For some reason I have been having a hard time getting my riding boots under the shifter. Is there a longer shifter out there? What options do I have?

you might have already tried this but change the shifter on the splines until your foot with boot on feels comfortable with where it is adjusted to .....I had to ride this way for years because of my fat feet until I came across a Denton shifter....They come up for sale on rare occasions...I wish someone who make a similar design for us Bigfoot individuals.....

Like Ferrin said, I also have to clock my shifter up a little because I run size 14 boots. Also, ESR makes an adjustable shifter that gives you just a little more room also.

Thanks guys. Yeah I have an esr shifter on the shelf, went to compare it to the one that is on the quad now and noticed that it is adjustable. Not much positive adjustment though.

Nope, not much, but every little bit helps.

I think I figured out that I only run into this problem when using the stock pegs. Running my propeg nerfs moves the pegs back quite a bit,  and gives me all the room I need. Time to put the nerf bars back on I guess.

I've probably posted these on here before but here is what I was talking about with the Denton shifter....Tons of adjustment......Wish someone would duplicate this...I would be first in line to buy more...

Looks similar to street bike stuff. How's it secure to pivot bolt on swing arm? Is the shift lever travel shorter? I have similar issues with my 13's, but I've always just rotated( clocked) the lever different. But that developed a different problem that only occurs when I'm trying to down shift. I have to look for the shifter. I think having the larger arm would help with that. Sorry to but in, but this is a common problem for many.

no spring on the clutch arm???

I have one of MacDizzys proto-type ones  very similar, but not pretty.  stock shifter I usually run up to just below the "HONDA" logo on the ign cover
Bunch of race quads that run on premix

Yes it attaches to the swingarm pivot bolt....Yes it does also adjust for a longer or shorter throw.....Thats why I really like this shifter and wish someone would replicate it because of the amount of adjustment the shifter provides...

I run a hydraulic clutch and at the time this pic was taken it worked fine without it...I have since changed cranks in the motor and replaced the spring at that time......Good eye!...LOL
