You guys have any Mods done to those 4 mill cranks or just install them straight out the box?

You could weld the tins and crank pin for pretty cheap.. I do that to all my cranks.

imho if you already have 330, I would spend money either on the setup you have, or upgrade to a cp cylinder.  IMO there isn't enough of a difference between the 330 & 350 to justify spending the money.  However, if you can sell your current stuff and upgrade at a low cost, go for it.

Agreed but going to a CP cylinder will be more than 2x that of an ESR cylinder.  And he is considering going from a 330 to 370 - which would be a decent power gain on a budget.

True, if you can do it on the cheap, probably worth it.  It is just imo that there isn't enough of a gain there to justify it, say if your buying a cylinder new, which gets you in the cost range to consider a cp cylinder.

I would stay with the 330 or jump to a sphinx (cp).

What would be an advantage going with a cp cylinder over an ESR?

I went from an ESR 330 trx9 port to an ESR 363 BHP  (bubba ramsey) and there is a very noticeable difference between the two. The 363 just has way more trq than my old 330. Definitely worth it to me.

I have had the esr 330 and 350, had Eddie do the extra trx 9 porting and it was one quad length difference against the same quads.

How does that set up compare to your sphinx?

Well I havnt had a chance to speak with Eddie his mailbox is full... I did speak with Arlan today, he's a pretty cool guy and sounds very knowledgable! I'm thinking his motor work is a little out of my price range right now, I'm sure it's worth it but I can't swing 4k on a toy that gets riden Maybe 5 times a year. I'm going to call around to a few other places and keep trying back with Eddie.. I'll let you guys know what I end up with
