I can do either.. I prefer PP plastic right now, been having awesome luck with that stuff. I'm working on some new printable polyurethan rubber.

That lid is pretty sexy! That's the same general idea I had in my head. Using the snorkel connection be in the lid. How does it connect onto your lid? My thought was an aluminum tube (or maybe 2) going into the lid on a steel angle and have the hose clamp to it and then up and under the seat

Its riveted to the lid, with sealer tape

The lid is the snorkel, using gravity to work for you. The opening faces down. Then has to travel up and over into the lid

Ah ok cool. Now I assume this is only intended to protect against splashing rather that a deep water crossing. Correct?

Nah it works in deep water, just not over the seat deep water.

This was the first iteration, which didn't work too good.. That is the design on the left on the tailgate, for this application... this is a 60hp motor, btw.

New design installed on my personal 450r, mines and MX bike, so I don't need it but was checking fitment... get the idea of layout.

I run the cfm airbox with some outerwear material fastened down as a lid. So far so good dealing with splashes and what not.... Also using silicon adapter/hose to go from airbox to BB motor. If you want a pic i can get one. That Robl one wasn't ready when i was building my r
