Hey, does anyone know a chrome plating shop that is decently priced and does great work? All the shops around here I used to use closed up shop, and the ones who are left have really bad rating. Looking at getting a swing arm done, and few nuts and bolts, oh and a brake pedal. So shipping would not be pleasant, but will consider shipping across country.
Thanks

Darren I did a google search for chrome plating in the Portland area and came up with several options.  Also found  other plating services,  like anodizing,  and zinc. I'm not really big into internet ratings and prefer to stop in and talk to people. It must be something that I learned from my dad lol.  You get a better feel for someone if you have bs session and actually put your hands on their products. Good luck, Loren

my axle is beyond polishing.  With shipping and rechroming it probably isn't worth it.

If you had a LSR, this is what they were offering.

Thanks Loren. I found out the company I used before is still in business doing chrome. I sent my stuff out last week, should be done in a week or two.

Pacific Northwest Plating in Vancouver WA. 360 735 9000. They had a small black chrome plating lime last time I talked with them. Mostly do production stuff but might take on some small job parts. I has them do a few of my bikes years ago.
