I'm kind of shocked.   They look like LSR arms.  It was the only reason i actually bought them in the first place.  But lonestar is telling me they are not lonestar.    Thoughts on what they might be?

Basically im looking for replacement ball joints.

I ran into a set of LSR copies once, they took the same ball joint. They were the same in almost every way other than you could tell the finished product was not quite as good, welds, finish ect. and the reinforcement on the lower was slightly different. They were not sport arms like what you have but they were standard travel, the rod ends up the uppers were the same on mine also. I'm confused by the nut welded on because all of my LSR arms were threaded through that whole tube even the copies, I distinctly remember that because I ran the jam nut on the inside so I could get it down to around 46" width.  I wish I could remember who I thought made them because I found who I thought it was at the time.

Some idiot welded the jamb nut. I didnt realize this untill after i bough them and they sat in a box awaiting my build.  Same guy that told me they are LSR arms.

Some people are ultra helpful aren't they. I think the ball joints LSR runs are a pretty standard size, I know they get them from a company called Frapco which supplies tons of companies. I used to buy the dust boots from LSR for all my different brands because the ball joint was pretty standard as long as it had the groove for the spiral ring. I hated the caster they set those things at back then so I always went for the adjustable ones, I did chop some up and make them adjustable by adding washers to the rear it's how JD does theirs pretty much. Those things are probably twitchy at high speed in rough stuff, lots of them only ran like 3 or 4 degrees.

Three companys that come to mind that use that style of ball joint are:
American Star
Full Flight
Fire-Ball Racing
They look closer to the Fire-Ball a-arms. Is there any webbing in the Lower a-arms?[/URL]

I don't think i've seen a pair of Lonestar's with heim joints as opposed to standard ball joints. Now i've seen LSR's with heim joints where they mount to the frame

Well Heres what i have seen.

Full Flight - uses adjustable frame mounts and has a cross bar right near where the arms mount to the frame.

American star has webbing around the lower shock mount.

Fireball - cant find any pictures.

I swear they look like LSR with heim joints installed.  maybe thats what they are.

I'm with Tbone. I have never seen LSR's with heim joints at the spindle, only on the frame side.
