Was a little cloudy on Saturday 5-3

Wind was pretty strong so people were hangin out on the little dunes to stay sheltered from the sand blasting you get on the top of the tall dunes

Same view from a little further back

Trying to get some 250r action shots with the lake in the back. My sister is hidden behind the tree

I got the camera so I'm just parked

The brother in-law coming up the hill

Sister on her new Blue R

Looks like a nice day to ride!  Looks like the moisture is going a deeper - has it been warmer or less rainy out there lately?

Its 60 and raining today at Windy bay. Was 60 yesterday. But it was sunshine at 80 last Wed-Fri before the new storm blew in.

BTW, how do you like your cascade silencer? I've been playing around with with silencers & cant get a decently quiet one. I'll probably put this led one up for sale & get a cascade one

The LED is around 3 to 3 1/2" in diameter. The Cascades are 4 or 4 1/2" for the big bore. The availability is what is hard to deal with. I buy the cascades as soon as I see one pop up on ebay. I have an LED also but do not think it is legal for Oregon

I'll probably have to drop the R off at cascade for two weeks to have one made.

Wow!!  That looks like an awsome place to ride.  Some day I've got to get to some dunes somewhere.  Can you pretty much ride everywhere you can see in those pictures?

I know I picked up a silencer for my Zilla from cascade, all they had was the can with the mount you have to build the stinger tube.

This is what we have had to do in the past. A few years back they were building you a stinger if you dropped off the bike. Don't know if that is still an option.

Yes, pretty much from the pic over to the grass sea wall is all dunes to ride. Can't go to the beach at this stretch.

It's still an option just have to have an appointment with them, is the cascade silencer a lot quieter then a shearers silencer?

The shears silencer is not really a silencer. If you mean quieter than the cascade, I would say its a significant step. But if your on the dunes with a cascade the rangers know what they are and will usually let you by. I have a shears BB silencer here, but would not use it. Those are for the track!
