Just received my axle back from, LSR. Inspected, rechromed for $110.00 including, shipped back. Looks brand new. Best part is, you don't have to be the original owner.

I sent it without the hub. They said you could leave it on. It cost me $16 to ship UPS from Fla. They charged $85 for the service, $24 to ship back. In total it was $126. Still a deal. Chromers' around here want a minimum $200, just for the chrome.

Is it gonna fit the carrier? Looks to have chrome where it sits on the bearings.

Tony, we'll find out. Going to install it this weekend. The new ones are chromed in that area. It doesn't appear to be built up too much.

I was just looking at mine and saw the same thing. The plating where the bearing goes was real thin. My chromer tapes off the entire center section and the splines and threads. I would rather send to someone who knows what they are doing. Keep us posted how it fits.

As I inserted the shaft (Axle) in to the selected orifice (Bearing) the feel was snug (Tight). With a little persuasion, she slipped right in! :friendly_wink:

Good to go!

That axle looks awesome. I have an older LSR axle on one of my 450R's that is in good shape, but looks a little rough. Looks like I may be sending it to LSR soon.
