I find it somewhat unusual on brand bias, my good friends that are electricians use Milwaukee branded tools, while those in the construction trade side use Dewalt tools. Both appear to be of good quality (18/20 volt brushless) and work for the intended purpose. I had planned to buy the Milwaukee brand, but my son now has a large collection of Dewalt, so I will probably go that way. These tools have changed so much since I was using nothing but air driven tools, as that is all there was. I still fondly remember my air screwdriver that made my life so much easier, and helped me make huge amounts of money doing a certain recall on cars. Most of what we did was all done by hand, with hand tools, as that's how they (exotic's) were built.  I'd say this makes me feel old, but think back 10 to 15 years ago and these things didn't exist.

https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCF887B-Li-Ion-Brushless-3-Speed/dp/B0183RLW8A/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=dewalt+impact&qid=1577781128&sr=8-8
i just bought this guy. i like it much more than the regular 1/4 brushless impact. Dewalt mid-range 1/2" hog ring is next on my list. Homedepot has a deal right now, 2 5ah batteries and you get to choose a free tool for $199. im going to hit that up tomorrow on my company CC.

Fantastic Joe!

I just tried the ratchet.  Great tool. Now I have to get a 3/8 ratchet and some impacts.

As desertR mentioned air tools are not as popular as they use to be. i sold my Craftsman 30 gallon compressor and bought this guy on amazon. i got just a tick over 60db. it fills the 2 gallon tank really fast. i plan on using an auxiliary with a ball valve if i need more air. Some internet searching i have found Harbor Fright sells quiet compressor as does Kobolt. I dont have either locally so Amazon i went.

Compressors HAHAHAHA  ;D ;D  I've got an 80 gallon, 2 stage, 220 volt compressor to run my stuff. I'm not ready to give up on my air tools yet. Sitting on cork/rubber isolation mounts, the intake noise is the loudest part of it. Can't run a plasma cutter without air. My 30 gallon craftsman horizontal unit finally died after almost 50 years. It lived a good life. I also have a 2 gallon 110 volt NAPA unit for little stuff like tires and such, I've never tried to run a tool off it.

I have more tools than any man could ever need....I still need more! I have a vast assortment of air tools as well as battery tools. I have a 60 gallon Quincy air compressor, 5 gallon rigid wheelbarrow compressor, and a 10 gallon hf compressor. I love having the correct tool for any job!
