Old style 14mm laeger ball joints
« on: April 16, 2021, 06:12:52 PM »
Anybody know where to find these?  Been researching there was a brand called ocad or something that laegers used. I know about moog es419r or 3045rl.
However, those don’t have sealed ball joints, sand/mud, etc can get in in certain situations
And more concerning, at the end of threads instead of maintaining diameter they neck down. Seems like a failure point for mx.  Hopefully this pic attaches

OCAP is the brand.  I’m digging around to find the part number.  I have the number somewhere.  By chance did you reach out to Laeger?  Craig Greenwood at Barnharts would  be a good guy to contact also.

I’ll keep digging.  I’ll post what I find.

everyone that says they have a OCAP/MOOG/XXXX model, when I look it up looks pretty much like above where there is a reduction in size after the threads.  I posted on FB, messaged some old R friends, talked to Baldwin, JD performance, and Scott w/ Laeger.  I sent Scott this picture and he assures me that he still has connections to get the original part.  We will see what shows up in the mail

Laegers had the right parts!  No reduction in size after the threads
