Anyone have any experience with HRE ATV?  Are they still in business?  He has built some nice 250R based hybrids.  Curious why his frames aren’t more popular.

He just built me a cr500 link swingarm. Still in business and in my opinion he did great on my swingarm.

Looks like a lot of work went into getting that to a final product. Do you know how much testing the design has had?

Also, do you have any data on the progression rate with a CR500 link, or where to get the linkage? I don't get off the ground enough to need more than the stock linkage, but I'd like to understand the CR linkage.

He’s made a bunch of them and from what I can tell it’s exactly like my Laeger one. I got a billet linkage from Phil Denton Engineering out of the UK. Very nice piece. I know Steve at ISF Racing makes them but I didn’t want to wait and I’m sure his are nice as well. No info on progression rates or anything that’s just what my frame was built for.

ZCarlson, I was wondering if you could post a pic of underneath your CR500 Link Swingarm by chance?? I have one made by ISF awhile back and just want to see if I need to have additional welding done to mine by the linkage mount. I noticed the Laeger CR500 link swingarms underneath had additional gussets and just wanted to compare the HRE one to the ISF. If you can that be great. Thanks.

I’m kicking around the idea of ordering a frame from Hre.  All stock 88 geometry except rear will be no-link and I’ll have him raise the rear upper shock mount like a lobo.  Prices are good.  He said it’ll take about 6 months.

It was about a month ago.  He usually takes a few days on emails and he doesn’t answer the phone.  He quoted me $2700.   Pay half upfront.  Pretty good deal considering lonestars are like 4K now.
