My son has the kawa 50 (aka susuki 50) 2 stroke.  Good little quad.  Just needs some more power.  Clutch releases too soon and it does not build up rpm's high enough to get him out of the sand ruts.

I did remove the restrictors from the exhaust.  CT makes a pipe kit that I was thinking about to.

I was leaning towards a yamaha raptor 80.  My brother in law has one.  its a 4 stroke and it seems to pull goo in sand.

I'm looking to get a quad for my little guy. He has a Kawasaki 50 but needs to step up to an 80 or 90 for the dunes. Do you guys have any recommendations for kids quad that will pull the sand? Don't want to be digging him out of the sand all day. Also, 2 stroke or 4 stroke?

Albertp86 where do you live? I'm guessing Bay Area with the 4hr north comment. I am in Livermore.

P.S.  AJ you better be calling Eddie TODAY.

Live near Stockton.

I doubt that Eddie would close up to. That is his life. Eddie is a great guy but hard to figure out. He isn't going to win any congeniality contest by any stretch. Just passing the info for those who like Tommy. For those who dont like him well....not sure what to say. I'm sure someone will take his place or maybe already has. I live 4 hours north of them but consider that my local riding area.

You have to understand we are still on our toes from people pretending to be someone who they are not, it was your first post so it was odd, but glad you are legit and we welcome you here! Thanks for sharing that with us.

I can appreciate that. After I posted and read it I noticed it was my first post. I am legit I guess.

I did not mean to start anything, you could have told us a little more. Thanks for the info, I am sure we would all want to know why. I do not know him personally but he has always been a great help when I needed it. Will miss having him on-board.

That message was not directed to you. Another guy deleted his posts after questioning my authenticity. No worries. I like Tom and know him. Had a lot of conversations with him. I should have just kept quiet I guess

Look me up on the other site. You will find that I have been the one blasting Carlos. Just have not had time to get on to this site.

Oh Gawd. Here we go. There are those on the site that know me. Don't really care one way or another. That is a good point though.
