Is it a black DG pipe ? Or the nickel plated Gary Denton signature pipe ? I had a buddy that ran the Gary Denton one and it pulled hard! He used it for MX and won quite a few races.....so it must have been good. It all depends on how the motors ported too! If it's not ported for the type of pipe you're using then it won't work well at all.

Gary Denton can pull the hole shot and often go on to win the race with a piece of stove pipe from home depot bolted to the side of his bike.:adoration::adoration:

I watched Gary when he was riding pro motocross as a privater.  He would consistantly pull the hole shot riding a slower bike against some of out factory bikes.   Our factory bikes would pull him off the corners and on the up-hills but he knew how to make the bike hook up off the line and time the starting gate better than anyone I have ever seen.

Yep.. winners win. They can change engine builders and win just the same. Always have and always will. There are a lot of builders that made a huge name for themselves based on pro result sheets but there are also, and have always been, lots of equal to better builders to them around.

Thank you for the opinions. From what I have gathered there are much much better choices out there. The machine currently has an old Paul Turner TRX race pipe on it I guess I will get it dialed in with that pipe and then change over to the DG and see what happens

Yes.   This is why the factories and big named shops pay the big bucks and hire the riders to ride their bikes and quads.  They know that a talented rider is going to win and make any brand or shop look good regardless of what brand of bike they are riding or whose shop flag they are flying.

After riding this thing around with my old duncan trx race pipe, I decided to leave that pipe on there.  It just seems to run soooo good this way, I don't want to mess with it!!!
