Author Topic: Help! Someone with an '88 or '89 with OEM headlight....... (Read 3958 times)

If someone could please measure the dimension of the headlight mounting collar, inside the washer portion, that would be awesome! I have all the parts to install my '88 style headlight, but the metal collars are unavailable. I have some metal tubing and an SS washer, that I intend to fab my own collar, but I need the dimension shown (or the overall length with the washer portion if its easier). Also, not noted on the diagram I made, but the diameter of the barrel portion that fits into the rubber bushing would be nice too! The part I am referring to, is part #3 on the partzilla link below:

went out and got it for you now. my measurements are in mm. shank length 27.5, with washer 29. barrel size 9.5 to 10. They are not a perfectly round piece. Hope this is what you are looking for. If you need more info let me know.

Thanks again hick wheeler, I found some bronze bushings that are the perfect diameter and length when I add a stainless fender washer to the outside! Didn't even have to cut them!
