PC2000 PV265 mounted up (thanks 312r1) and ready to roll.  Still need to install the CR ignition and clean up some spots on the motor. This will be mated up to a PT Factory Race03 and Duncan tuned PJ 37.3.

I'm digging the fender/hood setup....Only thing that would be better is a Naca CF or fiberglass hood for the Maiers.  Working on getting one made.

I have a set of new OEMs clouding my view on aftermarket plastics.  Knowing those OEMs will never see dirt, or may even leave my possession soon, these Maiers are the next best thing in my opinion.  Although, I'd love to have a set of full cut FBs to compare with.  My only concern is fender flex.  Fit and finish is good but I swear some fit better than others.  I'll have some custom brackets/bracing made to stiffen up the front so the CF hood doesn't absorb any tension from flexing.  For the rears, I'll probably get a factory43 grab bar since they have built in braces (I think).

Tied some stuff up yesterday - wiring harness, Rez bottles, carb, and some other odds and ends.  Not sure if I'll run the tech3's or the shamrocks.  Leaning towards the shamrocks.  Leaving the 86 engine in here for now.  Working on coming up with a way to run the stock snorkel setup.  First thing first is to get a new headstay built.

Here's how she sits....

So here's the annoying snorkel issue that all you Arens Bros owners know very well.    PDXTRX is building me a new one that will essentially match the mounting points of my Arens yet have the U design like my Lonestar while maintaining the beefy Arens design.  This will get me through the summer.  I'll have mounting tabs added to the frame this Fall when I tear it down...

Jason will fix you right up..One thing I see that would drive me nuts in person is your engine bolts and swingarm pivot bolt aren't going the same direction. Left to right.

Good point. I'll take care of that when I install the chain slider.
