Hey croat1- did you end up ordering the 20 hoods from Maier last Friday? Had not seen a update from you to see if you were still doing this....

20 hoods ordered last week....10 fighting red and 10 black. the white ones are going to be ordered at the end of the month.

Thanks man. Nephew was over to the house last night and bugging me about the status. He's been looking for a black hood for his '87 since we finished putting the quad together back in June.

as of right now it looks like 8 fighting red and 10 black are spoken for...out of the "sold" quantities I'm keeping 2 of each. white ones will be ordered soon and maybe some more fighting red and black. this is what it looks like mounted up (thanks to zcarlson12 for the pic):

update....hoods are done and on the way to me from Maier. I purchased the one extra black over run that they made. I should have the hoods this Friday. I will post pics as soon as I open the box.

Yeah, I am actually in Mayfield twp. I just need to ride somewhere other than The Mounds. It has turned into an 4x4 park and they charge an F'n fortune for anyone who doesn't live in Genesee county and I don't really like taking my 12 year old there.
