Where can I get cases repaired? I have two left center cases that needs repaired. One only needs a lower case saver fixed the other has a large hole on top of case infront of rear top engine mount. Cheaper to send out and get fixed or get new cases?

as far as price it really depends on what type of finished product your looking for. if your looking for something just to run you could find someone that could fix for 50-100 bucks depending on what is being done,
but if your looking for as good as new with no or little sign of repair then it can get costly depending on work involved

post photos of the damage. im sure jerry can say if its worth the hassle of fixing. most any type of damage can be patched back together but sometimes its easier to get a new part

I'm not real picky about looks. Just want them to work and keep for spares for "just in case" lol

I remember seeing a set that Jerry White fixed up. Looked like new when he was done. Not sure what he would charge or anything though. Dude does some amazing work. White Chassis is his company

Do you have that big chunk that was busted out of that one case half ?.
If not, it will be a lot of welding repair to fill in that area.
A good rule of thum when wanting cases repaired, not to have big broken out areas where a gasket surface is located, because once the welding repair is complete, that gasket surface will need to be resurfaced to make it flat.

You need to check the main bearing bore. If it is sloppy (bearing slides in) then that needs to be taken into consideration also. The lower case saver is an easy fix. But I saw a BDT repair on .net where they welded it all up and machined it back to perfect. Great waste of time and expensive. It just needs to be cut off and have a threaded spacer welded in.

Tight enough you cannot push a bearing in by hand
