My 353R weight

Today I finally drove down to the weigh station and got the R weighed.  It's full of fluids and had a couple of extras.  I'll post as such as I can to give you guys an idea on what it weighs.

1986 stock frame with no gusseting.  Refabbed front upper shock mounts.

Extra clutch cable in line with other clutch cable (spare)
ODI Rogue grips
Pro Design Kill Switch Tether
Stock front brake calipers and rotors
Streamline steel braided front brake lines
Stock front spindles
LSR Billet front hubs
LSR +3+1 DC4 LT A-Arms
LSR +3 tierods w/ stock heim joints
Fox Evol Float front shocks
PWK Radiator
Aluminum Shrouds
ESR inline thermostat

22" GBC XC Master front tires
Hiper Tech3 3-5 9" rear wheels
20" GBC XC Master rear tires
AC grab bar
Billet flag holder
Tool pouch attached to front bumper (5lbs)

This weighed in at 400lbs even.  The guys there said the scale gets down to the pound for you.  I thought it weighed less but once the bigger motor parts, fluids and heavier tires/wheels go on; I guess it adds up.

In case any are wondering what fluids I have so you can compare for some "anal retentive" reason; I'm running VP C12 32:1 w/ Castor 927, Honda HP Trans Oil for the gears, 50/50 Mix anti-freeze, teflon chain saver lube and DOT 4 brake fluid.

Motor mount bolts are stock.  Rear suspension linkage bolts are stock.  Front suspension bolts are Grade 8.  Brake rotor bolts are stock.  All other bolts that I can think of are stainless hex head.

Now I don't know how accurate the certified scales are. My quad was exactly 400. I weighed my truck and trailer and it was exactly 8100. I highly doubt these are to the pound even though the idiots at the counter says you can stand on it and it'll give you your exact weight.  I'm gonna hang it from a large scale after I move.

135 isn't possible. I think there's a typo.

135 lbs when a 250r motor weighs 65 and the frame and everything else added builds weight. Is it a drag design?

I do excavating for a living and drive large trucks over scales regularly, if you are on a scale you can drive a vehicle on, this scales are accurate to 20 lb increments. It rounds up or down  to the nearest 20 increment.
It goes fast over bumps too!

Oh okay. It just sucked that their confidence and description made it sound like it was to the pound.

I'm still going to track down a precise scale device.

Dirt man, thanks for that info though.

Metal recycling places have scales that get to the pound.

bathroom scale will work fine, set bucket/bike stand on scale, set bike on top.  Subtract bucket/stand weight and your set.  Or....

Damn thats light. I'm not sure if my scale will support that much. It's packed up anyways.
