The engine itself is stock w/ new piston / rings (I believe 86 - 87 model?) with stock ignition.

I do not, I checked with the PA DMV to see if it was previously registered after buying it, it wasn't. This was relaxing to know that it wasn't in someone Else's name! They told me the LAE 00/00 0000 vins do exist so registering it was just a matter of taking a photo of the vin and attaching it to the new registration paper work. Or, the bike could be taken to the local Police department for conformation of the #'s.

Anyone who's seriously interested, and needs it registered, I would suggest they call their local state DMV prior to purchasing to confirm the process. The Vin #'s are sequenced like "LAE 00/00 0000" (the zero's would be actual numbers) so if you call you could check to see if the sequence is legit and ask if you had one that was never registered what the process would be.
