Sounds rad, if you ever decide you want something along these lines, I can spin one in delrin, turkite, aluminum, stainless, pretty much whatever. I enjoy machining the parts, so it'd definitely be a cheaper alternative, lol.
As far as the riding spot, no, never heard of that one. We used to head down to Fox Vally Off-road in Ottowa, but it's been a few years. The R I'm currently building was bought last September as a running and riding survivor, a barn quad. Before that I'd not had a quad for probably 7-8 years, but as you well know, once that premix is running thru your veins, it's always there
