That is what I am saying bud. Go look through the pics page and look at the pics of my 89 framed r with ac propeg nerfs mimus the heal guard . It mounts in the same foot peg location and nit out or back just minus the heel guards.

exactly.  The foot pegs are moved up and back compared to the stock 88/89 location.  Is there any advantage/disadvantage to this?  Only thing I can think of is that me knees are bent more because the pegs are higher..

I thought they felt lower and back but it helps and I cant remember why its done to all nerfs for the r. I actuall like the feel, you need to c9m3 down and take the lsr for a ride and feel and see if you like it bud. But soon before its cold, and if you need a set of stock pegs to use for now from a 88 89 let me know I have a set I will send you if you cover the shipping on them.

That would be great.  I will keep it in mind.  I think I have my heart set on the albas though.  They are just the right color and exactly what I am looking for. I assume I will get used to them!

Not sure if I like the tops of the tires tipped inward...my adjusting nuts are almost all the way out on the top arms and the lowers are not adjustable....

Ok. I will keep my eyes open.   I will have to get some more seat time on the quad to see if I can handle the tires tipped in on top or not but it doesn't look like i have much of a choice....

Bought the Alba nerfs.  Put them on and I didn't like how far out the foot pegs were.  So I drilled new holes and moved the foot pegs inward a ways.  Much better now and feels about right.  Bought some extra netting to wrap around the frame and bolt back onto the nerf nets.  There is a big gap in there where my foot could slide through easily.  haven't got around to installing it yet as I need a frame skid plate yet.
took it out for a good ride today and this thing handles amazing.  I am truly impressed!  It corners really nice and the shocks make it feel like I am floating on air.  Rode my stock frame with HLS shocks on it just before and I used to think that rode awesome until I rode this one!!  Cant wait for my cylinder to get back from Neil.  Running my backup ported 250 motor and it just doesn't have it in the power department yet.  But it is coming.........

Looks real nice man, so what are you doing for a skid plate. My buddy makes the nice thick skid plates, he would need you to bring your bike to his shop to make o e for you tbough. He lives in Belding MI, he is gonna make me one for the walsh frame. Let me know if you want one and we can hook up and go there to get it done for you.

Thanks guys.  Still debating on welding rear skid plate mounts on the swing arm or just buying sprocket and rotor guards.  My shock clamps and coil mount showed up today from Tony. They look great.  Will put them on when the weather gets yucky outside. Cylinder also showed up today from Neil.  Maybe next week I will swap the motors but I really don't want to be nice to it to break the motor in!!!  Frozen ground=riding time.

Worked on the nerf bar nets.  This is temporary until I need new nets.  Should work good.  Will work on chassis skid plate this weekend and hopefully put the 330 in by the end of the weekend....
