My brother in law just got through radiation for cancer and does not feel up to riding. I went to pick up my sister so we could ring in the new year on the dunes. Sand is soft wet and spectacular. Resembles the grand canyon with pinnacles of sand instead of dunes. Craiglist find Blue 250r

The 408 puma in the sunshine. Cold and sunny Jan 1st

I lil blurry

Hard to find a rutt to drive through

Just a lil blurry. Just trying to beet the cold.

 Right, they cannot figure out how to get to the top of the dune. (Which way do I go?, which way do I go?)You can't ride the long way around.

I love all the obstacles and challenging terrain. I especially love to watch my 8 year old son conquer some of the things that makes his mom cringe. If it was just rolling sand hills and bowls I wouldn't go. Can't wait for February when I get to go

Went back a week later 1-10-16 and the 3rd parking lot was open. But entrance was still under water

Nice view but the next pic shows why I stopped

Its a 4 foot drop off that one

Kinda like this one when I did not stop. As you can see the bike was upside down with handle bars in the sand. Straightened up for pic.

They look totally doable from behind the seat.

But from the other side they look like this
