44mm lectron on a 363 sphynx?
« on: January 04, 2016, 08:52:20 AM »
Maxed out my jetting done at hassy drags, got to a 220 and still felt lean.  Would 44mm lectron be a better set up? I only run the hill and straight drags.

That'd work or run a smart carb on that motor like I did

Been thinking about getting the smart carb but 38 might be too small. Can a smart carb be bored to 40.5? That be the way to go?

Are you running Alky? What carb do you have now? If on 110 that 220 is huge compared to what my 363 ran. 0Ft of elevation, 40.5mm Kehein, Shearer OOF, VF3 I was running below a 170 main I think.

Rupp I did not, this is a 110 motor that Matt told me when I had the pipe built would take a huge jet the volume and length of pipe is huge for an inframe.

If it's just a drag bike I'd run a Lectron. Call Dennis Packard and have him set one up for you with the big bowl

There should be some guys in Flagstaff that have sprint cars or midgets that have drums of methanol or can tell you where they get theirs.
