Idle screw? 39mm keihin pwk

I recently got bike from guy at work. For starters he told me this was stock carb and it obviously isn't. Question is, isn't there supposed to be an idle screw here? Where this hole is? Or are these like stock carb and you have choke/idle knob.

The open hole right above where it says keihin is where it's supposed to be I believe

You should be fine with a brass screw unless you have a real stiff throttle spring & let it slam shut from full throttle all the time.

The slides with a chrome covering 'should' get a plastic screw. the brass / alumunum ones can chip the chrome on the slide. That being said, the plastic PWK idle screws are known to be easy to break.

So I ordered the brass one.sounds like I "should" be okay as long as I'm not slamming throttle
