I need pictures of the harness and where the CDI, coil, wiring is mounted on the frame.  since we are on the subject

I have a harness, its not a TRX one, but the wire lenths dont make sense to me for where I think the stuff mounts on the frame.

The 85 is the odd ball year as far as the CDI goes....it has a round plug.

I've tried...with Kompulsive and numerous other places. I've done extensive web searches.  No one can match up the round plug

are you dead set on an 85?  Why not just upgrade to an 86?  my CDI has the round plug too...

it might make sense to change the plugs or build an adapter.
